HD Packaging — Brand Video
HD Packaging needed a hero video that could actually help close deals, not just look good — we built it from nothing but empty packaging and a tilt-shift lens.
About the Project
HD Packaging is a family-run commercial packaging manufacturer — third generation, over 30 years in business — producing food pouches for major brands including Starkist. They needed a hero video that captured their history, craftsmanship, and quality standards, with no access to the factory floor and no finished product to film — only flat, empty packaging. Beyond the visual constraint, the video also had to do real work for the business: a hero video only pays off if it can actually help close deals, not just look good.
Final Results
The finished hero video is built around HD Packaging's own leadership voice — three generations of family ownership, the 2000 Starkist tuna pouch launch that won Package of the Year and set an industry standard still referenced today, and a clear value proposition: sitting between design agencies and manufacturers so a client's launch doesn't stall on either side. Built to function as a real sales tool for HD Packaging, not just a brand film.
“The real cost of bad packaging isn't what you paid for it — it's the delayed launch, the failed run, the co-packer call that derails everything. We exist to prevent that.”
